A buggy based on the ABX Strider from Interstate '76. The low node count makes it kind-of square.
It has .dds textures, meshwheels and several other custom props.
- Mirrors do not work like they should. They do show something, but not what they are supposed to be showing.
- Wheels are swapped. I did not flip them before exporting, so the left wheels had to be tagged as "right" in the .truck file. (And the right wheels as "left")
For this truck i took the original MTVR Cab Chasis in ROR and added 2 axles 1 in the rear which is steerable and 1 inbetween the old rear and front axels. I also added a heavy duty roll cage (which is invisible) and beefed up the frame quite a bit. This vehicle is in no way realistic when compared to an actual semi as it is nearly indistructable. When using this truck it is best to use the manual transmission. All the credit for the original frame and textures should go to the original creator, which is Box5diesel. This is my first upload and if you have any suggestions as to how to make it better let me know. This truck does not replace any of the existing MTVR Trucks it is its own file and should be completly seperate from the originals.
This is a pack of four mods to box5's F350s from a while back.
Flatbed (4x4) specs:
It sucks at mudding, but it can be a fun jumper. Bigger tires, cutom wheelfaces and bands, lift, flatbed conversion.
Flatbed (6x6) specs:
An okay mudder, it can make it through most of mudfest with a little persuasion. Bigger tires, extra third axle, custom wheelfaces and bands, lift, flatbed conversion, added toruque.
The best mudder of the four. It makes it through the super deep, slippery mud on mudfest with ease. Taller, thinner "tractor-llike" tires, huge lift, more torque, standard cab conversion.
A pretty good mudder, but not the greatest. Bigger tires, bla bla bla, standard cab conversion.
It's a quarry-style map. One of the first I made for RoR, converted from 1nsane. I spent a lot of time some years ago to sculpt this map for making it interesting with trucks and rock crawlers. I don't think I will work on it anymore so here it is if you like it.
Warning: everything except the quarry part is rubbish - you've been warned.
this is a project i will most probably never Finnish as i started something else instead.
its the 4x4 thing and a custom made crane trailer for it,
the 4x4 thing has 4 wheel steering at low speeds, locked diffs and a steering wheel.
the crane trailer has ropes and a invisible leg, the commands for it are are:
F9-F10 lower and lift the crane boom.
F11-F12 lower lift the invisible foot.
'O' connect load
'L' lock crane trailer to vehicle.
to connect the trailer drive the 4x4thing so the trailers hitch node is above the grease mark on the 4x4 thing and it 'L'
to pick up a load back the crane trailer over it lower it so its with in 1.5m from the object and it 'O' once it connects
and the ropes shorten hit F10 to lift the load of the ground and drive away. reverse order for dropping a load.
the crane trailer is usable on other 5th wheel hitches.
This is my off-road concept vehicle. It looks somewhat like a hybrid between those "duck tour trucks" and a side by side Atv. Please note that this is as far as i will go on this project, and also the mesh is in the file but it shows up transparent black. I don't know how to fix this. Feel free to modify this in any way conceivable, but you must add my name for the node and beam structure. Also note this is an (off road vehicle) drive slowly---under 45 mph--, otherwise you will destroy the suspension.
feel free to message me with any questions --Ben5---
This is an 8x8 Offroader based on a MAN-TGA chassis.
It is made for offroading so don't expect it to handle well at high speed.
However, I tried to keep it as highspeed-friendly as possible.
But the main aim is to perform well in rough terrain.
In the readme, there are instructions on how to enable the enclosed wheel meshes.
This vehicle features the "Driving right out of the package" concept.
So put it straight into your data/packs folder and you'll be fine.
Please note that it is my first vehicle and I''m still learning
-Real weight, real power, real scale. (so don't expect to tow the ror trailers that way a kabillion lbs.)
-Lockers (press W)
-Operational dump bed, & tailgate
-Contactable bed to load vehicles or objects with ties (press O to tie down load)
-Animated winches on all except cargo version, some even have a rear winch.
-Flexbody everything pretty much
-Detailed Animated Interior with shifter.
-custom deuce sounds, with added turbo
-Shader shows up black sometimes, restart ROR until it appears normal, or download boring material below and drop in deuce zip.
-5th wheel version breaks when hooking to some trailers
-No flexbody tires (would be way to cpu heavy, it already is)
Remember this is a trail rig, it has soft suspension. High speed control is limited because of this.
Real Samurai gearing (exo version has two extra crawler gears)
Flexbody (damage and shiny texture)
Custom Sammi sounds (thanks to Aperion for recording them straight from his samurai)
Working leaf springs, and shocks.
Just a all around fun vehicle to mob around in. Place the Zip in your packs or vehicle folder.
UPDATE: I've been working on a variation of my own and it's complete, or close enough. It is fully submeshed and will contact with other vehicles(that must to be contactable). It's sides and tail can fold down. The rear rollcage can be lifted using Ctrl+F4/Ctrl+F6. It has ties in the back so you can drive an vehicle into it. Unfortunately all the stuff I added makes it too "tippy" to carry a vehicle into water anymore but driving on land is fine. Also has a trailer hitch that can be completely folded away if you're not going to use it. All controls are listed in-game. Have fun.
This is an Tatra 813 pack I modified from Pricordes original versions and added "Wheels2" to all of the models so you can inflate/deflate the tires. Also updated to work properly in the latest RoRs release as it was having texture issues before. Use [ to deflate and ] to inflate the tires. This is not as easy on your system as the originals were. They were only about 1300 beams before, now each has over 2800 to properly simulate the wheels. [read more]
There is 2 versions included. Normally painted blue version and the 2nd with Dakar skin. Dakar version has a little lighter tires, with less spring and damping, which makes it more stable for fast offroading, drifting etc.
ALT + F1/F2 Rear suspension UP/DOWN
W for difflocks.
3D Model, Textures and N/B: Masa
Damage textures: metalmuncher
Original engine sound file: dobroide
Thanks to everyone who have helped me at the forums and gave advice, and thanks to beta testers. This was my first vehicle release for RoR, so ,have fun with it.
Credits go to Lifters for some great suspension and interior work!
Dodge 1500 - Baja Edition
3x suspension presets: Road/Offroad/Rough // 3x Ride Height Presets: Road/Offroad/Crawling
Constant 4x4, lots of torque, insane ground clearance and 4 wheel steering
All this along with a meter of suspension tr
avel makes this a pretty rough offroader.
CTRL+F1 / CTRL+F2 to adjust suspension stiffness
CTRL+F3 / CTRL+F4 to adjust suspension height
I decided to add full collision since Multiplayer now has collision. They should crash somewhat well into each other. You can crawl on them with the truggy or other big vehicles There also Blue in this version.
This is a standalone zip, so just place in packs or vehicles folder and play.
