Welcome to my Dieselpunk road train pack. This first version contains a selection of passenger trailer consists and matching locomotives. I hope to eventually add some freight equipment as well.
The rear view camera can be zoomed in and out by pressing ctrl+1. Adjust the height of the trailer drawbars with F1 and F2. Always set your transmission to full auto. The trailers can be entered and have a Ringfeder coupling at the rear for daisy chaining (careful, the brakes on subsequent trailers will not work).
Locomotives
A-unit
12x12x12 highway locomotive for passenger duty. 16-cylinder turbosupercharged diesel engine, diesel-electric transmission. Traction motors and steering on all axles.

AB Double
12x12x12x2 highway locomotive for passenger duty, with 1 booster. 16-cylinder turbosupercharged diesel engines, diesel-electric transmissions. Traction motors and steering on all axles.
Length 95 ft, weight 240,000 lbs. Maximum service speed 100 MPH.
ABB Triple
12x12x12x3 highway locomotive for passenger duty, with 2 boosters. 16-cylinder turbosupercharged diesel engines, diesel-electric transmissions. Traction motors and steering on all axles.
Length 142 ft, weight 360,000 lbs. Maximum service speed 100 MPH.
Trailers
Junior Zephyr
Relax in airplane-style seats with generous legroom in coaches 1 and 2, enjoy the view from the rear observation lounge, or get some refreshments or a light meal in the bar.

Modesty Zephyr
Choose between airplane-style seating in coaches 1 and 2 or table groups in coaches 3 and 4, enjoy the view from the rear observation lounge, or have a drink or light meal in the bar.
5 cars. Length 336 ft, weight 240,000 lbs. Maximum service speed 125 MPH.
Ambition Zephyr
Choose between airplane-style seating in coaches 1 and 2 or table groups in coaches 3 and 4, marvel at the view from the rear observation lounge, visit the bar for drinks and snacks, or enjoy a delicious 3-course meal in the dining car.
7 cars. Length 461 ft, weight 320,000 lbs. Maximum service speed 125 MPH.
Frontier Zephyr
The choice is yours between single or 2-abreast airplane-style seats in coaches 1 and 2, 1+1 and 2+2 table groups in coaches 3 and 4, or 3+3 compartments in coaches 5 and 6 - legroom is generous throughout. Watch the latest newsreels in the theatre, visit the library for a vast selection of national and international newspapers, magazines, and books, and arrange meetings or send telegrams on the move in the conference room. The rear lounge offers a spectacular view of the landscape through panoramic windows, and the adjacent bar offers all manner of drinks, snacks, and even light meals. For a truly gourmet experience, the world-class kitchen on wheels offers exquisite 3-course meals in the dining car.

Notes
Made for version 0.38.67. Other versions are generally untested and may or may not work.
The wheels may oscillate when stationary because they are optimised for low rolling resistance. Exercise caution when stopping or parking as they may creep.
The long consists are extremely fps-hostile. Do not expect playable framerates with the longest combination unless your CPU is very powerful and has a very large cache.
These vehicles are not designed to deform realistically in a crash.
Except for the front and rear, collision meshes are disabled for performance reasons.

f1/f2 lift the front to attach to a truck.
'o' to attach ties
there is no ramp because its designed to transport large tracked vehicles or other vehicles that have high ground clearance.
load capacities 70+ tonne.

Map: La Paz.
This pack is my attempt to capture the Streamline Moderne style popular in the 1930s and 1940s. The vehicles are all fictional, but their performance is realistic. I hope you'll enjoy driving them as much as I have enjoyed making them.
1948 Martin T64S "Custom" Tractor
A very low-slung 6x4 tractor. It has independent front suspension with double wishbones and load sharing rear suspension. The engine is a naturally aspirated 12-cylinder diesel driving through a 7-speed gearbox and locking differentials. Overall length is 29 ft, wheelbase 22 ft from front axle to centre of rear axle group, width 102 in, height 14 ft 9 in to tip of smokestacks. Kerb weight is 20,000 lbs, gross combination weight 80,000 lbs.
Fully loaded, the T64S will reach a top speed of 60 MPH with one of the included trailers. It will accelerate from 0-50 MPH in 1 minute, 0-60 MPH taking approximately 2 minutes.
1948 Martin O40 Tanker
A streamlined tank trailer in fictional "Hexaco" livery. Steel unibody, load sharing suspension. Overall length is 40 ft, wheelbase 28 ft from kingpin to axle group centre, width 102 in, height 10 ft 6 in. Loaded weight is 60,000 lbs.
1948 Martin F45 Flatbed
A simple flatbed trailer with stainless steel load deck and load sharing suspension. The deck is submeshed with the rollon flag and has ties to secure loads. Overall length is 45 ft, wheelbase 36 ft from kingpin to axle group centre, width 102 in, deck height 59 in, overall height 79 in to top of bulkhead. Kerb weight is 12,500 lbs, rated load 47,500 lbs.
1948 Martin V59 "Streamliner" Dry Van
A very large and somewhat impractical dry van. It has a streamlined stainless steel unibody and load sharing suspension. Overall length is 59 ft, wheelbase 47 ft from kingpin to axle group centre, width 102 in, height 14 ft 9 in. Loaded weight is 60,000 lbs.
Notes
These have only been tested in Rigs of Rods version 0.38.67.
The wheels have 40 nodes each, and the meshes were made in Sketchup. Don't expect these to be FPS-friendly.
The trailers are roll coupled via the system used by Lenni and Badboy for trailer steering. The centre of gravity and suspension are tuned accordingly; the trailers may topple easily on trucks that lack these nodes.
To minimise rolling resistance, the wheels are pushing the limits of the beam engine. They tend to oscillate when stationary. Caution is advised when stopping or parking on slopes as they may creep.
The trailers have very low drag. The T64S will not pull most other trailers at high speed.

Trailer P-32 is designed for quick transport wheeled and tracked vehicles and other material to the weight of 40 tons. In an emergency, up to 46 tons, maximum speed may be 10 km / h Is designed for off-set with tractor on roads I to III. class, the roads are paved and after tolerable terrain without external imbalances and obstacles.
