NOTICE : Pralo's Caelum wont work properly in ROR version 38. Still good in 37.126.
Welcome in Pralognan La Vanoise.
This map is somehow a replica of the actual town in the Alps. It provides travellers with accommodation, transport, all for comfort and fun. The Hotel will be the perfect starting point for rides in the mountains, taking the Telepherique or just climbing the steep hills with any off-road vehicle. The boldest drivers will manage to the glacier at all costs (several truck shops can be found here and there) whereas those just eager to have a nice look at our sea of ice will take the plane.
There is a ground model with different kinds of ground (snow, rock, mud, ice...), a paged geometry forest of (natural) pines, a customized Caelum sky and snowy weather can be observed in some cases. So make sure you have 100% vegetation and Caelum engaged in the configurator. No other settings are required and as the map is fitted with very large textures it wouldn't be advised to turn more option because FPS might be critical. A FPS friendly version will be provided separately.
Many thanks to anybody helped, encouraged and supported me, more particularly
Dega, Lepes, Brickman, Buttlamo, Lenni.
Special thanks to people who created things that I used or transformed :
Pricorde & Various (cable car based on NSH first monorail)
BartolomeoPL (Cherokee fire truck seen in pics and vids)
Box5diesel (Dodge Cummings firstgen included in the zip file and Toyota longbed seen in vid)
AndrewB (Caelum .os file that I tuned to get rid of shaders problems)
Hello ! This is my first map, i have made it in L3DT.
I've called it "Trailer Island" because it's a nice map for test your Offroad and make videos with it ( If you like it ).
It has a truck spawner and the rest is pure offroad. The sea water is not very high so it is very easy to travel in an off-road.
Sorry for some grammar mistakes
I Hope Do You Like It
Bye Bye

Customized ground model, simulating several different types of snow and ice.
An ice road stretching for nearly 3km across frozen ocean, which you can fall through if you're not careful.
A large factory with distribution center.
Thanks to donoteat, Box5diesel, adamoninternet and firepics for giving permission to use objects.
hello, this is mine terrain mod. I have added donoteat's angelscript bus route to the terrain
QUOTE donoteat
It uses angelscript to run a bus route, much like one can use angelscript for races. You drive to the first bus stop, stop, wait for ten seconds, and go to the next one. If you leave early it swears at you.
bugs:
The script doesn't know at which bus station you are, so you can go to them in any order.
You can use any vehicle, even ones that aren't a bus.

This is a very FPS friendly arctic map I made in L3DT. It looks great in 0.36.2 while driving the offroad S10. It's only 1025x1025 so it's not huge but not tiny either. This is also my 1st upload so don't expect it to be the greatest map in the world. I will add a truckshop when I get the chance to do so. BTW, this map was tested on an Intel Pentium T2080 Dual core processor and a Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chip Family.
It's my first upload, so don't expect too much lol
Didn't do too good a job of putting the tracks in the correct places either lol
EDIT When I get round to it I'll update this with better textures and vegetation and stuff now I've figured out how to do that but I'm too busy with a couple of other things I have going at the moment. So, there will hopefully be a new version but I can't say when.
This is The highest map ever in RoR, @10000 meters you will be rolling for 10 mins or try to brave it out, so far the only thing that has made it down to the bottom in one piece is my modded box5 trophy truck, do you fancy a challenge?
the spawn point is way at the top, it is possible to drive up it, but you need raw power and raw grip.
overall its very fun, reach new speeds of 500mph, i reached 464mph
120mph with brakes on from the top
goood luck
dont forget to post your acheivements and crashes here
DELETE THE OLD ZIP BEFORE USING THIS ONE!
====
NEW STUFF!
-Added a load Spawner
-Added a truck shop on the top
-Added 2 version: Spawn on Top and Black Ice (Road is all ice) both with FPS version too
-Woohooo
==== Trailer (please watch it)

Here is a mod to North St. Helens that is basically a blizzard version. I have added snow, slippery ground, and an snow texture on the ground. To install, simply put it in your packs folder. You MUST have caelum enabled to see snow. Thanks to pricorde for the original map, all I did was add snow.
(you can use any of these objects on your own terrains, provided full credit is given)

-Trees are from RORCAT's forest tracks, however the original author is unknown.
-Textures are from CG Textures and Foss Media.
