Here is my latest sound upload for Rigs of Rods Class 58 trains created by tommylommykins and Miura. This latest version is compatible with 0.36.1 software compared to my last upload that was made for 0.35. This new release adds sounds for a new train, the MF77. You can find more information on the different trains and how to install in the README file.

this file consists of two (2) American Siren files that need to be put in the sound folder in the RoR file. the one file thats in there now need to get changed to police1 or something like that. the one file in this pack that is "police1" if it is the one you want needs to be changed to "police in the sounds folder... if you have any questions PM me. This is another mod of the 2WD 5th-Wheel International 4700 by dneufeld. This time, I made it into a 1989 International S1900. The real truck is owned by the Southeast Raleigh High School marching band. I will be releasing a trailer for it shortly, as well as the other trailer and the 2 John Deere Gators. Sounds are from the band's S1900.

Hi again!!
here are subway sounds again but this time, they correspond to Paris' lines 1 and 14 (it's called the MP89).
The difference is that this train is on tires so it gives a much different sound.
The installation process is the same as the other train sounds, and if you need more info, there's a README file in english and french.
These files are in a way better because when you take different views, the sound actually adapts to where it's beeing heard from, unlike my first upload.

Hi, here is my first release of any kind.
It's a pack of sounds specially made for trains that I give credit to tommylommykins for creating (the trains, not these sounds lol!!)
I recommend downloading tommylommykins Class58 train for good use of these sounds.
First, copy the following files to Rigs of Rods/data/sounds/engine
high
force
iddle
low
medium
and these files in Rigs of Rods/data/sounds
horn
hornstop
hornstart
(make sure you back up your original files because they DO NOT sound good on buses and such!!!!)
After entering the train, hold down on the "H" key to listen to the alarm and closing doors.
These sounds come from the trains ( MF67 ) used in the Parisian subway on line 2 (which are beeing replaced by newer trains), 3, 3bis, 5, 9, 10 and 12.

This is a 454 idle sound for any vehicle you want to add it to. It's sounds really cool the 454 sound came from a 1971 chevelle 454.

This is a 2006 International 4300 ambulance, made from Khadners CXT Ambulance. It's powered by a 7.6L Navistar DT466 which is attached to an Allison 2500 PTS automatic transmission
ok so this is a new sound for the police.wav file it's a federal signal with rumble you can easily hear the rumble tell me if you like it if not i can take it off
this will overwrite the old police.wav so back it up if you don't want to keep this siren
This is a mod to the 2009 pack by unknown. It's a semi fantasy truck. Basically, it's a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 outfitted with SRT8 equipment. The original 5.7L Hemi was replaced with a 6.1L Hemi, the 545RFE 5-Speed auto was replaced with a W5A580 5-speed Automatic and SRT8 rims were put on. It's also got a supercharger on the engine. Engine sounds are from my dad's 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8, and others are from my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. Ctrl-1 activates high beams, Ctrl-3 activates cargo lights, and Ctrl-4 activates hidden strobe lights

Hello, here are some sounds taken from various YouTube videos of school buses, converted to a format RoR supports. Most of the sounds are key turn sounds, but there are also brake sounds (Regular and parking) and engine sounds (IC FE). Feel free to use any of these sounds how you wish. No credit or permission is needed at all. Enjoy!

The engine is a 5.7L Hemi V8 which is attached to a Chrysler 545RFE 5-speed Automatic. Engine sounds are from my mom's 2004 Durango and others are from my Ram. Ctrl-1 activates high-beams and Ctrl-3 activates cargo lights

This a mod of the International_4700 pack. It's just the 2WD 5th Wheel, but it's been made into a 2006 International 4400 with a DT466. The brakes have been fixed so that the truck doesn't stop on a dime. Sounds were recorded from a 2006 International 4300. I also put in the gauges from an International 4400

Here are some sounds that I recorded from my dads 91 dodge ram 350 which has the 12v Cummins in it and got them working pretty well in RoR, In the pack there are starter sounds and truck engine sounds, I also included the original sounds that this pack will replace there in the folder named "original_sounds" enjoy!
To install extract all the files that are in the "cummins_12v_sounds" folder to your Rigs of Rods "data/sounds/" folder (example: "C:Program FilesRigs of Rods 0.35datasounds") and every thing should work.
A police siren. Hard to explain. Credit goes to guitarguy1985 of freesound.org for the 3 sounds. I compiled together the 3 sounds - yelp, piercer, and wail, and I shortened them a bit, to make a nice siren for Rigs of Rods. It's possible it could get repetitive after a while depending on what you call repetitive.
Anyway, have fun.
To install, rename it to police.wav and put it in the datasounds folder, and overwrite.
Caution! The sound is not of the right format for 0.36. If you attempt to use it in 0.36, you will no longer have the siren. I'm working on this at the moment.
This is a blended siren that is commonly run on Fire vehicles in the United States, It has a Federal Q winding with a powercall, hyper yelp and warble running as well. Enjoy! Goes great with the KME Predator.
Simply open the .truck file of the vehicle you wish to add siren to and see what the existing file is named, then rename the federal Q powercall to that of the existing file and replace the existing .wav file in the vehicle folder. (see thumbnail if need be)
Here is my Siren pack which includes the Federal Q siren which winds up and down twice with a Whelen Wail, Yelp, and Pierce. Enjoy and Have A Happy And Safe Holiday!
This is a real-life modded siren. It sounds so realistic, and has been modded sooooo extremely well that it is probably the best one here. I highlt recommend downloading it.
Although, I had a little help from my friend with the mixing (yoyoboy) aka Brett. Other than that, I just hope everyone like it.
*** Installation ***
1. Download File.
2. Install into Main ROR Directory > Data > Sounds
3. It will ask to override. Click YES
4. Enjoy your new Siren.
Here is a 1-71 Detroit Diesel Sound for the cars. They only made 900 1-71 engines. they made them only for two years from 1938-1939. Well i thought you guys would love the sound. It sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Well Cheers. =]
Audi A6 2.5tdi v6 sound. Works fine.
To install just add it to your sounds pack in Computer/C:/Program Files/Rigs of Rods/Resources/Sounds.
And if that doesn't work copy the sounds zip. to your desktop(or other places) then put the v6 sound into the
sounds zip. And so you just move the sounds zip. into recourses again.
this is a 12v71 straight pipe detroit sound for trucks just place in your data/sounds/engine folder i got these sounds from a kenworth sled puller so install and enjoy!
