made for RoR Terrains: 0.36*, 0.37, 0.38, 0.39* | Trucks: 0.37*, 0.38, 0.40
*Possible or partial compatibility. Not guaranteed to work.
I'm finally getting around to releasing this, since I don't plan on doing anything more to it.
IMPORTANT! If it crashes on the first launch after installing the zip, then re-start ror and it should work fine. IMPORTANT! To run the snow map, you need to run RoR as an administrator.

Derbymutt's Baja Trail Truck
Derbymutt's Hummer Trail Truck
The overall inspiration for these maps and cars was the old 1997 game Test Drive: Off-Road.
The Offroad course features Angelscript races and ambient sounds and particles.
The Snow course features realistic snow physics and nice calceum settings.

This is a zip of a few different siren tones including Powercall, Yelp, Hyperyelp, 6-Adam and an Electronic Q. This zip only includes the WAV files, it is up to you to figure out how to add them to your vehicle. Feel free to do whatever you want to these files without permission or credit (Though credit is always nice). However, if you do take these files and make one single siren loop and release it, please send me a pm as I may like to use it for my game.
So, I decided to finally officially release this map, since I have not done anything to it for a long time. It's the same to the last beta I posted.
Credits so far:
-LJFHutch, for the vegetation and the signs.
-Lifter, for the tent and the motor home attached together.
-The guys who made Artifex Terra 3D for the bump mapping which Nipash got from and implemented in RoR and helped me a lot to implement it on my map too.
-CG Textures, for the textures, after done some editing on them, especially the road one.
-Oh and myself for the rest.:P
-And everyone else, including the ones above, who contributed with their suggestions and troubleshooting, especially Fat-Alfie and Miura.
-Also, many thanks to Nadeox1 for the release trailer of the map:
Please, let me know if I forgot someone.
This terrain works only with 0.39! Neither 0.4 nor 0.38 or lower. Try a 0.39 version. I would suggest some former version than 0.39.7. You can have both 0.4 and 0.39 installed simultaneously as separate games and run whichever you want without problems.
Since this uses an overlay colour texture blended with detailed textures, it can not be converted in 0.4 properly, because there is no such option, as texture blending, yet.
Modding generally, is permitted, as long as you put a link to the official terrain here and the author. You can start a thread about your mod, so I can see your progress. If it's going really well, I may post it as an official update to the map, here or the thread and credit you.
PLEASE, DON'T RATE THIS DOWN IF YOU EXPERIENCE ERRORS! POST THEM BELOW OR ON THE THREAD INSTEAD! RATING HAS TO DO WITH HOW YOU LIKE-DISLIKE THE TERRAIN'S CONTENT AND FEATURES AFTER IT LOADS AND RUNS FINE!
This is a small semi beverage trailer that I modeled and skinned in sketchup. Aside from some issues with the flares its a fully functioning trailer that will be excellent for rollplaying.
Credits are as follows
Trevor for the main n/b
Silvermanblue for the mesh
also the logo is owned and copyrighted by Miller brewing company.
I say, the Old-en is Gold-en. So, let's make that Gold sparkle!
This is a sound modification of Lenni's first and second creations; the Man5to and Man7to. Both are in the back pages of the Repository. I recorded some sound straight from a Man Kat 7to and put it on this truck. Enjoy my sound mod!
I have full permission direct form Lenni to release this modification.
This is a Flatbed Trailer Preloaded with a Mobile Office!
Its a akwardly wide and long load have fun hauling this!
This is BETA 1 so there are still problems that are still getting fixed!
Flares (there are none yet)
Legs (no mesh yet)
The mesh and the node for the kingpin dont line up right yet
Please have fun with this!
Kfperin (me) : N/B, putting the model ingame, Project Manager
Carbon : Commands and many other helps, beta tester
josh99 : Mesh, wheels, putting the model ingame, placement of the meshes, and many other helps, beta tester
You must extract this file! I could not upload this file in any other form...it is actually an input file with a README inside.
This input.map file is for the Ferrari Thrustmaster GT 2-in-1 Racing wheel! I have heard of these wheels having bad reps, but I figured i would provide easy compatibility for it with this game so they have a much longer time to enjoy it while it lasts! Personally, mine has lasted for a half a year with nothing more than a bungee cord needing replacement. Anyway, have fun with this file!
If you end up with problems of any sort related to this input file, either PM me here on Rigs of Rods, or email me at email@example.com. These two contacts are also in the README, before the controls.
V 1.00: Initial release. Not all keyboard controls work, but you may still fully use the keyboard for anything the wheel will not do. I plan to fix this for the sake of those people who lend their wheel out often.
To be done:
-Add separate input files for all four pedal mode combos. Currently, you must set your pedals to "split-axis inverted" for this to work. This can be done in game controller settings, but you must have your wheel drivers installed.
Here is that link: http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index...2&pid=33&cid=1
-Fix any problems that may suddenly appear with this, and help you out with them whether they are on your end or mine.
-Find the creator of the original input file and give him credits for programming the clutch version.
-Add a picture diagram of the controls. (There is just a list of controls in the README for now. Or forget the README if you're a button masher! ;D )
This is my first major project i have full permission from negative ice and voulk.
This is my International 4400 pumper
It's based off a few different versions iv seen on the internet
it is now separate from the main zip so you may want to delete the one in the zip as it may conflict
and everyone else who contributed to this project.
new pump mesh
Included in the zip are four sounds, hornstart, horn, hornend and radio. Also included is a simple readme and soundscript. The zip is quite large mainly because the horn loop and the radio loop are respectably long.
ALT + L will release the hooks from the boom when they are secured.
The boom is rated for 50 tons retracted and about 15 tons fully extended with boom mostly down (which is almost spot on with the real truck)
The under reach is rated for about 40 tons although I'm sure it may handle more.
This truck took a lot of hard work from my "team" and we are all very pleased with how it turned out, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Please DO NOT MODIFY truck without asking me for permission
The Coot can get you anywhere you need to go, whether it be working on the farm or bashing up the trails. With its articulating hull it ensures maximum traction at almost any angle.
Fully animated props (steering wheel, gearshift, tachometer, ignition key)
Flexbody tires (they even work in mulitplayer)
Many upgrade options, so you can make it your own (including almost all upgrades that came with the original Coot)
Working winch on multiple versions
Off-Roader - base mesh, Exo-Cage, mini images and texturing
DODGE charger (me) - N/B, add-on meshes, add-on texturing, diesel sounds, prop placing, etc.
Jaw-4 - stock version rims
PrT Audiman - gas engine sounds
Do it! This thing is meant to be modded. Oxender-Performance will look at your part requests. We also have some PDNs for you to make skins in the thread.
