This was my third attempt to get a working vehicle crusher into RoR. 2 pairs of geared wheels - the top pair reduce larger, more stubborn vehicles, the bottom pair are closely meshed to shred the vehicle. Drive the vehicle into the hopper, walk over to the ramp area to take control of the shredder. Use F1 to pull the vehicle through and shred it, F2 to back up the shredder for whatever reason. You shouldn\t need throttle. Vehicle *should* get dumped out of the bottom. Vehicles will need modifying for contact, there\s a damageable version of the Paris-Dakar to get you started. This is released as-is although I might develop it further if we get more optimized collision detection in a future version of RoR.
Known issues:
- The vehicles still don\t shred (they go all floppy), and they sometimes get caught in the bottom rollers, you should be able to reverse the rollers a few times to free them.
- Expect miserable fps, I was down to 5 and under with just the Dakar, if you have a dual core you might be more lucky.
Spawning:
This will need spawning onto the map. To make it spawn in aspen, paste this line into your aspen.terrn file, it will spawn beside the main road near where the loads are:

Fake tank
All wheels except frontmost/rearmost drive.
2 bugs so far:
-You can't start the engine so.. DON'T STALL THE ENGINE :P
-Tank will spawn weird on Nhelens and aspen, try the extra terrain pack if you want to drive it. |

What happens when you merge a bus, a crawler, some 8 meter tall tires, and Cookie Monster?
Well... The Monster Crawler!
It is GIGANTIC. And it will go over just about anything. So far the fastest that I have completed the aspen rock course with it is right around 45 seconds. In the Small Island map it simply rumbles over the hills like speed bumps.
It also has some very long ties that extend down from the middle of the chassis that can pick up small, light vehicles, like the Turtle. So you can take two crawlers along or a backup car to take you back to the garage. Its just a lot of fun, and a blast to drive in multiplayer with friends.
Controls: Press the "o" key to activate the ropes. Press the "n" key to turn on the "RAMPAGE ENGAGED" warning light and give the "cookie monster" bloodshot eyes.
To install, place the zip file in your packs folder. The vehicle will appear under the "Crawlers" category.
Due to the large tires, a lot of clutch overloading will occur. I have found the vehicle makes the best power at full RPM in 6-8th gear.
Credits go to Pricorde for the bus cabin structure. I resubmshed it, created the texture, and added the 3-link suspension system. |

I modded dieselfuelonly and eric's yellowjeepoffroad2 jeep. I gave it bigger tires that are soft for rockcrawling, softer suspension, tons of torque, crawling ratios, cool new look with full cage, and coolest of all, ADJUSTABLE WHEELBASE. no more fliping over backwards when you try to climb aspen grove's rock hill. nice and short to super long with the push of a button. fyi: the rear suspension is much stronger when extended. make sure you haven't downloaded the original jeep first or it might interfere. ENJOY
(I'M not bragging but this is my favorite vehical on ROR, just my 2 cents)

AWD, using double wishbone suspension so the wheels will be always be level.
Main problem right now:
-Tendency to spawn in the walls if you select it on aspen grove or north helens.
-Seems to be very front heavy.(not sure if this can be fixed since it messes with the center of gravity which makes the car behave bad)
Also contains a variant with a huge spoiler for downforce(adjustable with F1-F2) |

Well heres the new and improved Tower Crane.
Just add to your packs folder.
Ive added the ID system to this one, so if you want to replace the olde crane on aspen you will have to add the ID to the crane in the .terrn file.
Changes:
Added shiny yellow beams
Sorted and added beam sizes
Improved the strength, but still major damage done wen heavy loads are lifted.
And replaced the old trolley with a meshed trolley that looks way better.

Version 2 of the TNT-DAF truck
Repaint of the daf paris Dakar truck.. i measured the top speed... it gets around 40-45 mph if you have a long enough straight (aspen runway is a good place to try it)
Updates in Version 2
- Transparent windows
- Stiffened suspension (reduces body roll)

I built this crawler for the build a crawler contest. I gave it high ground clearance, low center of gravity(lots of low nodes), four wheel steering, and good size tires. Put it all together, and you have a crawler that performs flawlessly. This is the best four tired crawler that i have driven. THIS THING WILL GO ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF THE aspen ROCK WALL, there is some skill required though.

Skin for the KME Predator. La Grange Fire Department edition, I went ahead and put rescue on it. So its a rescue truck.

All i did was the new skin.
La Grange is a small town Volunteer Fire Dept. in Texas.
(NOTE) waiting permision to release a fayette county EMS skin for Turbocharged's ambulance (aspen grove medic 1,2) this is the county that La Grange Fire Dept is located. |
