Set of ISO shipping containers. Contains 20', 40', 45', 48', and 53' sizes.
Many thanks to fidoj and sputnik_1 for the chassis and locking mechanism.
Many many thanks to the community for submitting so many skins for these things! In the mods section below, you'll find eight skinzips full of 150 skins produced by the RoR community. (And almost all of them are tolerably good!)
This is a 6.3 AMG sound mod that I have made for RoR to make gameplay a bit more fun.
Although the installation is also step-by-step described in the installation guide text file inside the .ZIP,
here is the brief overview:
1. Drag all sounds to the .ZIP of the car.
2. Modify the .SOUNDSCRIPT file. I have already written the code and it is included in the installation guide.
Just copy it to the file and save.
3. Modify the .TRUCK file so that the soundsources would match with the new soundscript (also explained in the guide)
4. Optional but recommended, change the engoption and engine lines in the .TRUCK file with what is provided in the guide.
I have already written as much code as I can for you so in most places you will just have to copy what I have written
over the original and save. It should all work just fine but if not, then contact me on the support thread here: Mercedes-Benz-6-3-AMG-V8-Sound-Mod
Its equipped with working cam-mirrors, the mainbody is a flexbody Mesh, meshwheels and custom sounds,
recorded from the original OM 314 diesel engine. I made two truckfiles with different skins applied.
Each comes with an FPS-version also.
please do not share this outside www.rigsofrods.com. I give only permission to mod the texture-files,
not for the contained meshes. If you want to mod more than just the textures, please ask me before release.
In the WIP - thread in Post 1 you find the original layer-based gimp-file for making custom skins.
This is a 1941 British Motor Gun Boat. It is 71ft long and weighs 42 tons. It is reasonably quick and can cope with relatively high seas, although it will capsize if things get too rough or if you reverse too hard at full helm.

- Improved handling, manoeuvrability, and stability at speed.
A minor, unofficial patch that greatly improves the default vehicle sounds, and modifies the default soundscript to accept 4 RPM sounds for the default car instead of 1, providing a less artificial and more immersive experience.
Thank you to all the other authours that made this possible: zikmester96 (diesel sounds), ashes48 (default car sounds), gigawert (patch, modified soundscript file)
Extract this zip anywhere, then copy the files to the sounds.zip in C:Program Files (x86)Rigs of Rodsresources. It will overwrite some files, this is normal. Make sure you have full permission to access sounds.zip in order to copy files to it.
UPDATED 9/22/2015: Made V6 (default car sounds) much better. Sounds much better than before. Now what's to complain about RoR?
9/22/15: added non functional mirrors, added stop sign, added "school bus" on front and rear, activity bus and private bus versions
Update 7/2/15: converted the sounds to mono so that they will change with camera distance, also fixed starter sound, you need to delete the old file before installing this one
I decided to make a 3D model of my favorite school bus (in order to 3D print a 1:160 scale model) and the 3D model came out good, so I decided to use it to make my first vehicle comes with first person view, 72mph top speed (4th gear), interior, and lights; uses the Amtran RE chassis that BlueBirdBusCo started work on; I'm probably going to drive it around a lot because the IC RE is my favorite bus
Things to watch out for:
-the wheels/suspension are really bouncy, so try to take it easy on the bumps
-the turning radius is rather large, typical of a rear engine school bus
-it flips if you turn really hard (obviously)
authors: me (lights, body, interior), BlueBirdBusCo (chassis, sounds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAZ3_pqgH6A
EDIT: I got written permission from BlueBirdBusCo, he said it's OK that I used his chassis, please put this back up
Hey once again if you downloaded "4bangersoundsImproved" download this file again as it has more sounds for higher rpms and a improved idle and start sound. The soundscript is included in the zip.

Diamond Brook is a small town map that I made! I have tested it and it works very well with only one bug where the grass messes up a bit (Not where you can't use it)
I worked very hard on this map and I hope you like it!
Since the original thread is locked, here is a repo entry for my 2nd Generation Saf-T-Liner C2.
As an incentive to re-download, I toyed with the transmission a bit to improve power at low speeds and increase the top speed.
Additionally, I corrected some syntax issues, so the bus is now compatible with NextStable 0.4.0.5.
This bus is designed for 0.4 but will still work in 0.38.
The bus features 28 unique combination of options including:
-Different body types
-4x4 offroad setup
A full description of options, controls, and other information can be found in the forum thread here: Thomas-Saf-T-Liner-C2
No public mods of this bus will be allowed, however, you may distribute customized textures (for a company for example).

I don't think many people have this steering wheel, but maybe someone has and always searched for an input.map. It's called "Saitek R440 Force Wheel".
I didn't make this input.map, after a long search I found it (already a long time ago so it may not be up anymore). It includes:
Gas, Brake, Steering left, Steering right, Shift up (right), Shift down (left), Parking brake (Yellow right button, downside). I don't know about the others, I tried editing, but it didn't work and alwaays another key was used in RoR then I wrote so it's just how I found it. It includes the old controls, too, the new ones for the steering wheel are just added.
To install it unzip this file after downloading this file and put the input.map into the following direction: C:Users*username*DocumentsRigs of Rods XXconfig
